Meeting:
Date and Time: Sunday October 16th at 3:00 PM
Place: Scout Hut Located across from Dollar General, the one by the High School.
Penguins and Otters:
The Penguins and Otters will begin working on their Birds badge! They will be learning about Penguins, Cardinals and Woodpeckers and will get to make a Pumpkin Birdfeeder!
Dolphins and Butterflies
The girls will begin working on their Fire Building Badge and Bird Badge. They will be building their own personal fire (with supervision of course), and building their own Pumpkin Bird Feeder. The following is a list of items they will need to bring with them.
- Two Walmart size sacks of kindling: They can simply gather small twigs and sticks from the yard that will fit in their sack or bag. They don't need anything too big!
- Dryer Lent for fire starter, we just collect ours in a gallon bag on our dryer. Works great for getting a fire going.
